Mahoney State Park

Today was such a beautiful day that we just had to go to the park. One of our favorites is Mahoney. Lindsay loves the observation tower that overlooks the Platte River. She will run up and down the stairs as fearless as can be. She must get it from Joe because I was clinching the hand reel on the way up and down! We also love visiting the conservatory and looking at the amazing flowers inside. They also have very nice walking trails, which are always fun!

Being Clean can be fun!

So much fun outside can only be followed by some fun clean up!

Both of the kids have really learned how to play in the bath well together. It makes bath time twice as fun!

Outside Fun

Due to the sun peeking through after a few days of rain, we have been outside as much as possible. Lindsay and Matthew have both loved it!  They have both played hard and as long as they could. I believe the turn in weather has lifted every one's spirit!

Matthew is 9 months!

Matthew is now 28 inches tall (37%) and weighs 17 pounds and 12 ounces(8 %). He has grown like crazy these last few months. Is now curious about everything and has developed a large personnality. I love reading, singing, playing, and talking to him. He acts to understand and laughs and pays attention so well. He has started to baby babble to himself followed by laughing, it is still one of the cutest things I have seen.
Lindsay absolutley loves playing and helping her baby brother! I am already telling her that only mommy tells Matthew no, but she is still trying to correct him. We will have to work on the oldest sister bossiness (from first hand experience, it may be a long battle)!
