I never realized until this year how big of a deal Rail Fest is around here. There was so many activities for families to do, and most of them free! One of the activities was a miniature train ride. The little train was pretty neat to see and the kids Loved riding it around the park!

We were able to do other activities as well. I just didn't do good with the camera. We walked around and looked at the craft fair, where they had some very cute displays. We also had supper at the park with all the different vendors around. Joe had an according to him "amazing carne asauda (Sp) taco", personally it was way to spicy! After all the playing we settled down for an outdoor movie in the ball park. We all snuggled in our blankets and camping chairs to watch the movie The Lorax. It was a cute movie, it wasn't the "we will probably buy it good' but it was cute none the less.
Saturday there were many, many more activities going on but we had to much to do at home and had had our fun for this year so we ducked out of them. The only thing we couldn't resist on Saturday was watching the firework show that night. It was a very impressive show and even better because we watched it from our yard!
All in all we had lots of fun and look forward to Rail Fest next year!
