Maybe spring was just teasing?!

Yesterday, we spent 2+ hours at the park with pizza to end the fun. Today we have 50 mph wind gusts and snow. The temp has dropped more than 50 degrees in the last 24 hours.

So, with it just being the kids and I this week, we made snow ice cream and watched a movie! The Good Dinosaur is pretty good. According to Lindsay it is sad (she cried through a lot of it) but she says it is really good and she would watch it again because of the happy ending!

Spring

Today it was a beautiful 78 degrees this afternoon, the sun was shining, and dad is out of town. So we decided to spend a couple of hours at the park.

We went grocery shopping after school. I think he was a bit tired. He stayed like this until he woke up on our way out the door.

Girls Night

Lindsay and I had a girls night with some of our friends. We attended the musical Beauty and the Beast at the high school. Lindsay was so excited and loved it. She just did not love staying up until 10 pm. It took her most the weekend to get out of that funk! I thought that the high school students did a great job!

A little sunshine in your day

Lindsay and I painted her and Natalie's reading and desk area to be a flower garden with a blue sky and fluffy white clouds. We had fun doing it together and she loves quietly going into the room, grabbing one of her favorite books and reading away!

Snow, Snow, Snow

We now have lots of snow. It has been a long time since we have had this much. The kids have been enjoying so much, especially with two snow days!

Say Cheese!

There was a Bingo for Books night at school. It is also a fun activity. After the activity the weather was still so nice that the kids said " Mom, take our picture" so we had a little fun!

Dad made a snow dinosaur. Matthew and Natalie had a great time riding it. Unfortunately, Lindsay didn't join in on the fun.

OH NO

This day off of school, one loose marker and mom working on projects did not turn out so well! We all spent a lot of time scrubbing!

Class Treats

Lindsay asked if she could help make her class treats for the Christmas party. She knew exactly what she wanted and it was just up to me to have it realistically come about. I think she did a great job helping and hat they turned out pretty cute.
