Playing a little "Catch up"

Wow. I can’t believe it is already March! We have had a lot going on at our home. The holiday’s seemed to fly by a little too fast, much like they always do!

Joe is continuing to study hard in school. He is also working when he can. He has enjoyed church basketball being around for the last couple of months and will miss it when it is gone.

Lindsay is growing way to fast! She isn’t a baby anymore and is turning into such a big girl. She enjoys helping me with everything that I do. Lately her favorite way to help is by cleaning any surface she can reach with a sponge. Hopefully, she will continue the desire to help! She is now beginning to be more and more vocal. One of her most common phases is “Here ya go”. This is used whenever she hands you something and sometimes when she wants you to hand her something. Her other most common phase is “what is this?” or “what is that?” I thought that I might get tired of hearing these words after a while but she is really good about only needing the answer once and moving on. She has also been working really hard on learning her animals. She finds them fascinating. We are also working with her right now on learning how to share. She has just entered the stage of wanting a toy for no reason other than somebody else has it. Hopefully this is a short stage.

I have been staying busy running after Lindsay, fulfilling my church calling, and just doing the everyday chores. I have been trying to make a couple cute little crafts. So far I have the materials for two, with one started and lots of ideas for more. All in thanks to my friends from church who attend the sewing group! If only I could be more creative on my own!

We are all anticipating the warmer weather, which is not coming fast enough! We are just itching to be able to go on a walk without our winter coats and boots on. We just have to wait for the snow to melt!

Hope everyone is doing well!

Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween from our little cheerleader!
Being her first year trick or treating, we deciding to go to the children's museum. Inside the Museum they have candy passed out at every "station". It went over pretty well, once she got passed the firefighters and decided the people weren't scary. We saw some friends from the ward and then all was happy!
The next night we went to the ward party. We were very excited that Mom Blomstedt was able to spend the day with us. Joe is very pleased that for the second year in a row we were able to win a prize with Calico Beans! Thanks for your help with them this year mom! We have had a fun Holiday and look forward to spending some time at home tonight passing out candy. Hope everyone has a Safe and Happy Halloween!

Family Fun...

At the Children's Museum! With the cold whether here, we have been trying to find a substitute for the park. I think we have success! Lindsay loves running around the museum and playing with all the fun toys and being creative. We enjoy going once every week or two to get out our wiggles. But, it is always the best when Dad can come!
All of our hands!

Just the right size

It seems that Lindsay is always wanting to try new things and grow up so fast. And, sadly, sometimes I have to say that she isn't big enough certain things. But, Lindsay is proud to announce that she is big enough to play on the toys at the mall! This is very exciting to her because everytime we walk the mall, she want's so badly to play!

Getting Caught!

This last month or so Lindsay has been very persistent that her milk comes from the fridge. Well, a couple of weeks ago she figured out how to get it open. This is her getting caught in the act, with yogurt on her face.
